WELCOME
Along with the men and women of the Rice County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the citizens of this community, I am fully committed to providing quality, professional law-enforcement services through the preservation of peace and order, the reduction of crime and fear, and the achievement of proactive problem solving resolutions through teamwork and loyalty to those we serve as well as one another. With community support, our office will continue preparing for the future through viable partnerships, the demonstration of professionalism, the recognition of valuable training and the simple desire to lead by example. We will remain committed to our oaths and focused on our responsibilities as we work towards our goal of consistency with excellence all while integrity remains a necessary standard.

The vision of this office is to collectively establish the benchmarks in the public safety profession; by being recognized locally as leaders who are unquestionably committed to enhancing the quality of life for and with the citizens of our fine county. We consistently operate on the approach that “no job is too big; no responsibility is too small” while aggressively achieving these objectives. We are committed to the principles of servant leadership in law-enforcement and will always strive to conduct ourselves in a manner that merits the respect of all people.

In closing, it is both a privilege and great honor that I serve you as your Sheriff. I will always value your comments and suggestions and I urge any citizen or visitor of Rice County to contact our office at any time the need should present itself.
